The multi-titled Tropang Giga achieved a historic grand slam in Season 2 of the PBA 3x3 as it annexed the Third Conference crown via a clinching 21-18 win over San Miguel Beer Sunday at Robinsons Place Las Pinas.
Big man Lervin Flores muscled his way to 11 points on a 7-of-9 clip to go five rebounds while Almond Vosotros rifled in seven spiked by two two-pointers as Ping Exciminiano added three capped by the golden point off an offensive rebound to complete this drive to the record books.
Coach Mau Belen's troops pocketed the last piece of a Triple Crown despite Samboy de Leon cramping up in the crucial stages of the final battle.
"Sa basketball, iilan lang ang nabibigyan ng chance na maka-grand slam kaya sobrang special ito," said De Leon.

The Tropang Giga banked P750,000 for their latest feat, which actually gave them a league-high four conference championships in a row dating back to the Third Conference of Season 1.
Limitless App, the ruler of the first two conferences of the inaugural season, is the only other member of this elite winner's club.
