Frontrunners and tailenders alike go all out in the sixth and last leg of the PBA 3x3 Season 2 Third Conference beginning Saturday at Robinsons Place Manila with spots to the culminating Grand Finals on the line.
Lead group Cavitex (355 tour points), TnT (350), Barangay Ginebra (310), and Meralco (285) look to do well in the two-day leg to maintain their lofty positions inside the Top 4 with Platinum (278), San Miguel Beer (234), Pioneer Elastoseal (229) and J&T Express (201) in pursuit.
The four best teams after six legs gain outright tickets to the quarterfinal phase of the conference championship while the fifth to 10th placers go through the pool stage to dispute the remaining Last-8 seats. The two bottom teams in the 12-team field, meanwhile, bow out of the season-ending meet.
Purefoods (160) and Blackwater (141) are clinging to the last two spots in the Magic 10 with Terrafirma (102) and NorthPort (95) in a spirited bid to crash the party.
The combatants take the first step of this final push in Saturday's pool play beginning at 11 a.m.
