BLACKWATER'S Alfrancis Tamsi and Richard Escoto seized the moment as they emerged among the top individual performers in Leg 4 of the PBA 3x3 Season 2 Second Conference.
Tamsi piled up 39 points in five games and averaged 7.80 markers to share scoring honors with J&T Express' Joseph Sedurifa while Escoto registered the most steals of six for a leg-best 1.20-steal average.
The duo's strong play helped the Red President reach the semifinal stage for the first time en route to their best finish of fourth place.
Almond Vosotros, the league's premier gunner, amassed 18 markers in three outings as TNT crashed out in the quarterfinal stage.
Sedurifa posted the most rebounds with 29 to top the battle of the boards versus Jorey Napoles of leg runner-up Cavitex (26) and Brandon Bates of winner Platinum Karaoke (25). The J&T ace also ranked second behind Escoto in steals with four.
Bates tied J&T's Keith Datu in most blocks with eight for 1.60 average.
Nico Salva and TH Tumalip, who like Bates were key members of the crew that delivered Platinum's breakthrough triumph, ranked 1-2 in assists with 12 and 11, respectively.(OL)
