Sista's JJ Manlangit, Ken Mocon, Rhaffy Octobre and Jan Jamon prevailed over Terrafirma, 21-12, and Leg 2 ruler Meralco in overtime, 20-19, to take the group's top seeding going into the Last-8.
Picking up from where they left off in last week's Leg 5 win, SMB's Ken Bono, Wendell Comboy, Jeff Manday and Bam Gamalinda outdueled Pioneer Pro Tibay, 21-19, and Barangay Ginebra, 21-18, for a blazing opening.
Limitless' Jorey Napoles, Simon Camacho, Nico Salva and Ryan Arambulo also claimed victories over the Gin Kings, 17-12, and the Pro Tibay, 21-15, to ensure their advance.
The Beermen and the Appmasters dispute Pool A's No. 1 ranking in the elims windup Sunday morning at 10 a.m. before plunging into the knockout round.
