THE PBA 3x3 has set the resumption of the stalled Second Conference Grand Finals on Wednesday, April 27, at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Action will start at 3 p.m. with the Pool B showdown between Barangay Ginebra and Platinum Karaoke to be followed immediately by the knockout rounds.
The Gin Kings carry a 1-0 win-loss card on the strength of their 22-18 victory over Terrafirma 3x3 (1-1) last Wednesday before the pro league halted play due to the fire at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Platinum is at 0-1, absorbing a 19-21 loss to the Dyip.
The Ginebra-Platinum tussle will determine which two teams from their group will advance to the quarterfinals. The group topnotcher will set up a Last-8 showdown with No. 2 seed TnT Tropang Giga while the second-ranked squad face No. 4 San Miguel Beer.

Already through to the quarters after completing their Pool A assignments last Wednesday were Sista Super Sealers (2-0) and Pioneer Pro Tibay (1-1). The third entry in their bracket, Purefoods (0-2), got the boot.
Pool A top squad Sista earned the right to meet No. 2 Meralco 3x3 while Pioneer forged a showdown with top-seeded Limitless in a KO dispute for a semifinal berth.
The finalists will continue their chase for the conference honors and the cool champion's purse of P750,000 a week after fire at the air handling unit of the Big Dome forced the suspension of play.
The pro league managed to hold five pool games last Wednesday before the unfortunate incident that also led to the postponement of Game 6 of the Governors' Cup finals between Ginebra and Meralco later that night. (OL)
