Limitless App parades new-look team in PBA 3x3 Third Conference

MULTI-TITLED Limitless is parading a new-look squad for the PBA 3x3 Third Conference Leg 1 hostilities this weekend at Robinsons Magnolia.

The Appmasters, who ruled the First Conference and won four legs so far, bring in Nico Salva and Alfrancis Tamsi to join forces with regulars Jorey Napoles and Reymar Caduyac for the two-day battle.

Salva and Tamsi have big shoes to fill for the Appmasters, who went on a tear and eventually grabbed bronze in the Southeast Asian Games with Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Marvin Hayes in the fold.

Rosser is shifting to 5-on-5 and was picked first overall by Blackwater in the last week's Rookie Draft while the veteran Hayes was not enlisted for the opening leg.

Pioneer Pro Tibay retained the core of the group that won the Second Conference title in Gian Abrigo, Robin Rono and Christian Rivera while tapping Reeve Ugsang for the fourth spot vice Carlo Escalambre.

Debutants also feature in the other squads like Ping Exciminiano and Gryann Mendoza for TnT, Wendell Comboy for San Miguel Beer, Tzaddy Rangel and Pedrito Galanza of Cavitex, and Hyram Bagatsing of Platinum Karaoke.

Master Sardines fields a souped-up roster composed of Gwynne Capacio, John Lopez, Joef Javillonar and Jeric Teng as the Zamboanga Valientes returns with Jeffry Bernardo, Jerom Ferrer, Darwish Bederi, and Ree Juntilla.

Barangay Ginebra named transferees Martin Gozum and Leo de Vera in place of 5-on-5 draftees Encho Serrano, Jollo Go and Jayson David while bringing back Mikey Cabahug and Denice Villamor.

The PBA 3x3 expands to 14 teams for the season-ending conference, where they are divided into four groups. The top two squads from each bracket advance to the quarterfinals. (OL)
