LIMITLESS App sets out for another show of force while nine well-motivated rivals seek to make their marks as they battle for supremacy in the PBA 3x3 Lakas ng Tatlo Second Conference Grand Finals Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Appmasters have previously won the title in the First Conference and are determined to extend their dominance in the inaugural season's middle tournament, where a cool P750,000 champion's purse is at stake.
The fancied Limitless crew of Brandon Rosser, Marvin Hayes, Jorey Napoles and Reymar Caduyac enter the conference championship as the No. 1 seeds with 450 tour points after the six legs.
Out to challenge the Appmasters are No. 2 TnT (435), No. 3 Meralco 3x3 (395) and No. 4 San Miguel Beer (380) - all fellow leg winners in the conference. Intent on stealing the thunder are Pioneer Pro Tibay (277), Barangay Ginebra (267), Platinum Karaoke (266), Purefoods TJ TItans (238), Sista Super Sealers (180) and Terrafirma 3x3 (136) - the fifth to 10th-ranked squads in the one-day battle royale.
As the Top 4, Leg 3 and 5 ruler Limitless, Leg 1 conqueror TnT, Leg 4 victor Meralco and Legs 2 and 6 topper SMB are seeded straight into the quarterfinal round while the rest dispute the four other Last-8 berths in the preliminary phase beginning 9 a.m.
