The Leg 2-winning Tropang Giga, who are aiming for a Triple Crown this season after ruling the First and Second Conferences, carry top seeding in the one-day affair and are altready waiting in the quarterfinal round.
Second-ranked and Leg 4 ruler Cavitex, No. 3 Meralco and No. 4 and third-leg victor Barangay Ginebra join multi-titled TnT as seeded quarterfinalists as incentives for finishing in the Top 4 after the six-leg pre-finals.
Meanwhile, fifth-ranked and Leg 1 conqueror Platinum Karaoke, No. 6 and Leg 6 kingpin J&T Express, No. 7 Pioneer Elastoseal, No. 8 and Leg 1 winner San Miguel Beer, No. 9 Blackwater and No. 10 Purefoods play in the pool phase beginning at 10 a.m. to dispute the four remaining quarterfinals slots,
